PROJECT COORDINATOR

The Project Coordinator at Lovett Deconstruction will join our stellar office team and act as the hub of project development. They demonstrate the high level of customer service that we provide when they coordinate with clients, vendors and our team. This position has a deep understanding of our projects and our crew, and is responsible for keeping our schedule running smoothly. This role will grow as the individual masters the core functions and has time to take on special projects or additional responsibilities.

We are looking for a dynamic individual that will thrive in a fast paced environment with a wide variety of responsibilities. Candidates must be extremely detail oriented (someone who would relish the idea of playing three-dimensional Tetris), love to problem-solve and respond to new information, all while remaining calm and organized. They must have excellent people skills and be able to multi-task and meet deadlines. This job requires active listening skills and strong written and verbal communication skills fueled by a passion to succeed. A desire and ability to quickly learn new concepts and processes will be crucial to success in this position. A demonstrated ability to create, implement and improve on organizational systems is a plus.

 

Responsibilities

  • Setting up project logistics, including coordinating with clients, vendors, office staff and field staff (email, phone, slack)

  • Scheduling crew at project sites

  • Dispatching trucks

  • Overseeing time and attendance record keeping

  • Organizing files and records

  • Tracking and purchasing inventory

  • General office tasks and data entry

  • General building maintenance at our shop

 Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google G Suite

  • 1 year administrative experience

  • Candidates with written or Verbal Spanish skills will be given priority

  • Construction knowledge a plus
