"I am a project manager for Green Gables Design and Restoration, a residential general contracting design build company in Portland, Oregon.  I have used Der Lovett's company several times for salvage and demolition.  On every occasion, they have proved to be quick, affordable, hard working, and tidy when they are done.  I have had nothing but good work from them and would recommend them highly."

"During deconstruction of a major project in Eastmoreland last year, Der called me to say that they had discovered a layer of plywood coated with a texture coat of some unknown substance that, in his opinion, could contain asbestos.  It was Friday afternoon, and we had a crew of plumbers scheduled for Monday morning.  By five pm, Der had taken a sample to the testing lab, found it contained asbestos, and had lined up a certified removal crew.  They were on the site at eight am Saturday, and, by four pm that day, the material had been removed, residual particles locked in with a spray treatment to all affected framing, and the site was spotlessly clean.  My project had not been delayed.  Left to my own devices, it could have taken me a week to take care of.

"I have been a professional builder for thirty years.  Until I met Der Lovett, I personally supervised all the demolition work on every project I did.  Doing a meticulous, well-protected demolition phase can really set the tone for the whole project.  When waste materials are properly recycled or disposed of, hazardous materials identified and mitigated, valuable parts carefully set aside, and the site left clean with dust confined to work areas, clients, as well as the construction crew, are happy.  And, preserving rare old trim can result in significant savings when the restoration expert can avoid ordering custom fabricated millwork.  Der and his crew of experts consistently provide all this, and they are a pleasure to have on the jobsite as well.
"In my opinion, you can't afford not to hire Der."

"I was extremely pleased with the thorough and professional demolition job that Der and his crew performed for me in the interior deconstruction of a fire-damaged home.

"Lovett Deconstruction listened to my concerns, carefully removed everything worth salvaging, de-nailed the material, bundled it, then stored it in the basement of the home for storage.  They work quickly and neatly and leave the site clean inside and out.

"I've worked in the remodeling industry for the past thirteen years, and I've never seen a more professional deconstruction/demolition crew.

"I look forward to working with Der on many more jobs in the years to come."

"I would first like to express my appreciation for the professional and timely work you [Lovett Deconstruction] have done for us at Landmark Northwest.  The jobs have always moved forward and the job site has always been clean and orderly!  I should note deconstructing versus bulldozing our buildings at Failing and MLK probably cost us a bit more, but it is not always about the money!  The few hundred dollars that we 'might' have saved kept three to four of your employees working for two weeks, provided you with a good stock of re-sellable lumber and us with a huge stack of two-by-fours for the new building.  Thanks much and please do not hesitate to give our name out for references."

"We hired Lovett Deconstruction in July of 2006 to complete an extensive gut of 8400 square feet of commercial office space in preparation for a brewpub. Der and his crew were very thorough, clean, and organized. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to salvage an incredible volume of beautiful lumber and a variety of other building materials. I look forward to sharing pints of organic beer with Der and crew when we open, to officially thank them for their hard work!"

"I have used Lovett Deconstruction on three different projects, which varied in size and difficulty.  I highly recommend their services.  The work on all three projects was done in a clean, efficient, and timely manner, and well within my budget."
